California Disabled Parking Privileges
Permanently disabled people going outside of their home state can obtain travel placards. These are valid for 30 days for out-of-state residents and up to 90 days for out-of-state residents visiting California. Note that disabled people who travel in California with disabled parking licenses from other states without acquiring a California travel placard are technically breaking DMV rules. Out-of-state disabled parking badges are frequently honored by law enforcement. They can also park in short-term areas marked with a green curb for an infinite amount of time.
